When:
Join fellow exeQutive
members in the "Glass Box" room at Navigator for a wine tasting led
by Anjana Viswantha, a leading Toronto sommelier (formerly with Canoe and Alo -
see bio below). After a short tutorial on "how to taste wine like a
sommelier", Anjana will lead us through a blind tasting of "outside
the box" wines from unusual varietals and regions. You'll then team
with your exeQutive table mates to come up with your best guess to identify the
wine. Table teams will the compare notes and Anjana will unveil each wine
and explain why she chose it. Light food will also be provided that pairs well
with the wines. In case you fall in love with any of the wines and want
to buy some for the holiday season, we've asked Anjana to ensure the wines we
taste a readily available for purchase at the LCBO. Given the
additional costs we'll incur for this event, each member is asked to pay a $50
supplement. Please RSVP by October 1st.
