Take a Digital Break for a Tour of the Fisher Rare Book Library and its 2SLGTBQ+ Collection

When:

Tuesday, May 7, 2024 - 6:00pm - 8:00pm

For a welcome break from today’s digital world, exeQutive members and guests are invited for a special curated tour of one of Toronto’s hidden gems – The Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library at UofT.  The Fisher Library is the largest repository of publicly accessible rare books and manuscripts in Canada. The library is also home to the university archives including the papers of many important Canadian literary figures including Margaret Atwood and Leonard Cohen. Among the collection's items are the Nuremberg Chronicle (1493), Shakespeare's First Folio (1623), and Newton's Principia (1687).

After the tour, we will walk down Harbord Street to a nearby spot for some beverages and light fare.
